PLACING BETTS
Information technology and the advances of modern science have transformed, and continue to transform, the world. The Betts family businesses are at the cutting edge of their specialized fields. The year 2010 will see the 250th anniversary of our commercial beginnings. We are all proud of that, but we remember the old saw: A trader places a sign outside his showroom reading, “J Smith & Co, founded 1700”. His neighbour promptly erects his own sign: “A Jones Ltd, founded last month - no old stock!”
