Thanks to our hardworking design team led by Leone Betts, our new website has been formally launched, right on schedule.

Our appreciation goes to everyone who has contributed but especially to Leone who has worked so hard at the imaginative new design and efficient organisation of information. You’ll find all the old features of our former site which proved so popular, plus a host of new items and improvements to bring our on-line facilities up to date. Ecology is a large and complex subject, so organising all the different services we offer and the information related to them for ease of access has been our primary aim. Navigation menus have been extended and re-grouped so it is easy to find things, and information is arranged hierarchically so that you only need to read a lot of detail if you want to – the basics are immediately to hand and easy to find. A comprehensive site map has been added as an extra aid to finding your way around.

There is more to follow over the weeks ahead, so please come back and see us whenever you can, but other new features already in the site include:

* an on-line quote button supported by a fast response team at our main office;
* information on the whole of our latest extended range of surveys and services;
* a discussion forum facility;
* a feedback form for you to make suggestions and tell us what you think;
* secure clients’ and members’ areas;
* a photo gallery;
* a new shopping basket for our publications and our report check service;
* improved download facilities for our free information sheets.
